Russell DeMicco, D.O.

Russell DeMicco, D.O. is a specialist in the Spine Institute board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. His special interests are back and neck pain, non-operative spine care, and musculoskeletal medicine.

He is active in multiple professional societies including the American Medical Association; American Osteopathic Association; American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation; American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine; American Pain Society; Physiatric Association of Spine, Sports and Occupational Rehabilitation; North American Spine Society.

Dr. DeMicco has authored and co-authored many articles in peer-reviewed journals on back pain in children and adults including Basic Evaluation Process for Back Pain in Children and Managing Your Back Pain – Without Surgery.

Dr. DeMicco received his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Lewisburg, VA. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, Edison, NJ and a fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Spine Institute, Cleveland, Ohio.
