Christopher T. Bajzer, M.D.

Christopher T. Bajzer, M.D., is a staff cardiologist in the Department of Cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, where he also serves on staff in the Department of Vascular Medicine. Dr. Bajzer is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiology, and specializes in coronary intervention, peripheral vascular intervention, and carotid and cerebrovascular intervention.

His research activities include serving as a co-investigator for trials that are investigating the utility of carotid angioplasty and stenting. He also is the principal investigator or co-investigator for several other trials in coronary and peripheral vascular intervention. In addition, he has authored articles and book chapters on coronary, peripheral vascular and carotid intervention.

Dr. Bajzer is an active member of the American College of Cardiology and Scientific Councils of the American Heart Association. He also was recently accepted into the New York Academy of Science, an international organization of scientists in government, business and academia.
A graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Dr. Bajzer completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at William Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak in Michigan. He served an additional year at William Beaumont as chief medical resident. Dr. Bajzer completed fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic.
