Mark Ian Froimson, M.D.

Mark Froimson, M.D. is a member of the Cleveland Clinic staff with an appointment in the Orthopaedic and Rheumatologic Institute. He is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon that has special interests in partial joint replacement, osteonecrosis, hip fractures.
Dr. Froimson is currently active or has been active in multiple professional societies including the American Orhtopaedic Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Orthopaedic Research Society, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, American College of Physician Executives, Mid-America Orhtopaedic Society, Academic Orthopaedic Society, Ohio Orthopaedic Society, Ohio State Medical Association, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Froimson completed his undergraduate degree at the Princeton University in New Jersey. He received his medical degree in 1985 from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed residencies in general surgery at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and in orthopaedic surgery at New York Orthopaedic Hospital at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center where he was Chief Resident. He also completed fellowships in orthopaedic research at College of Physicians and Surgeons Columbia University and adult reconstructive surgery at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
