![]() Brian G. Donley, M.D.Brian G. Donley, M.D., is a staff member in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, where he also serves on several departmental committees and is fellowship director of Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Donley is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery. Before joining The Cleveland Clinic in 1996, he was an instructor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Tennessee-Campbell Clinic in Memphis. He is a past recipient of the Distinguished Teaching Award from the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic and was named one of America’s top surgeons in the Guide to America’s Top Surgeons. Dr. Donley is a frequent invited lecturer for regional, national and international scientific meetings and has been published in numerous professional journals, including the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, Orthopaedic Review, Foot and Ankle International, The Physician and Sports Medicine, Journal of the American Medical Association, American Journal of Sports Medicine and Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Donley received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind., where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a Notre Dame Scholar. He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, where he graduated with distinction and was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha (the Medical Honor Society). Dr. Donley completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Michigan Hospitals, as well as a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Campbell Clinic at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Donley’s professional affiliations include the American Orthopaedic Association, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association and the Ohio Orthopaedic Society. |
