 Marie M. Budev, D.O.Marie M. Budev, D.O., is a member in the Department of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Budev’s special interests include lung and heart lung transplantation, secondary pulmonary, hypertension, cystic fibrosis, and gender specific pulmonary issues. Dr. Budev has won the Stewart Fellowship for Humanistic Medicine at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Budev is active on professional committees and publications. She is associate editor of the Cleveland Clinic Journal of Medicine, for which she is also a scientific reviewer. Her committee appointments include the Solid Organ and Tissue Transplant Committee, and Donor/Transplantation and Awareness Committee. She has published peer reviewed research in leading scientific publications, including the Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, and Critical Care Medicine, on topics ranging from stenting to pulmonary disease in pregnancy. Dr. Budev received her doctorate from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City. She did her residency at Cleveland Clinic, a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and fellowship in Women’s Health, also at Cleveland Clinic. She is currently associate medical director of Lung Transplantation, and associate program director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Cleveland Clinic. |
